*gt friends: wine stoppers.

I’ve had many Get Togethas where friends bring the vino and we ki ki it up. But I’ve only had one guest not only bring a bottle of wine but bring a keepsake of a bottle stopper as well. And gosh do I cherish that thing. The saying “God is in the details” certainly rings true. Needless to say GT is noting short of impressed. Stop by any Crate & Barrel and you can really dress up a $3 dollar bottle of wine for any occasion. But here are few Internet dainties to jazz up any hostess gift.
Versace Amber, $35. BlueFly. Botanical Bottle Stopper, $4.95. Crate and Barrel. Quirky Corks Wine Stopper, $8.95, Wrapables. Marble Bottle Stopper, $3.95. Crate and Barrel. StarFish Wine Stopper, $3 Eliza Fig. Oneophilia Set of Three Varietal Stoppers, $20, Amazon. Nymphenburg (Girl with Rose) Porcelain Cork, Nymphenburg.

So cute! I have only recently crossed over into the world of wine. I had only tasted reds previously and didn’t like them (taste like Robutussin). I have delicate taste buds, lol. But I had some white wine (Riesling and Moscato) and now I have morphed into this bougie white wine person, lol. So now, I have use for these stoppers. GT, you need to put together an entertaining book!

I’m a Sparkling Wine type of gal. Living in Cali has its benefits. LOL
I’m not a big fan or red or white because they induce sleepiness. That Nymphenburg Cork is pretty magnificent.

Those are some neat corks, especially the ones with the wine types on them.
