pad style: the queen.

Queen Inspired

Queen Latifah aka Dana Owens is not only a triple threat Cover Girl/businesswoman; but she’s a chameleonic Glamazon of confidence. When she pretties it up she’s so Hollywood and when she doesn’t she’s so around the way that you’ll forget that she’s got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Some folks got into a tizzy a couple of  days ago over whether rappers should be snapping up quality roles but the Queen is so so so exceptional to that rule. Did you not see “Life Support”, “The Secret Life of Bees”, “HairSpray”, “Chicago” and “Living Single”?  *Snaps for the Queen**For Real*…Cause there’s no way you can say that she hasn’t earned her royalty status….

I really like the sofa! If I can remember correctly, they (the folks in a tizzy) were talking about how if a person was a rapper or singer that said person should work on his or her craft prior to accepting movie roles. Queen Latifah is a serious actress with real talent, so I am sure they were not talking about her.

I agree. Latiffah doesn’t even need to be in that debate she is an excellent actress (rapper and singer) and paid her dues. Remember her small role in Jungle Fever (she played the irate waitress)?
