pad style: shingai shoniwa
Good grief. Has it been this long since I’ve immortalized decor for the ones to watch?…Type 4 hair frontwoman and unconventional beauty Shingai Shoniwa who also makes you want to kill yourself on the treadmill is filled with so much style and edge that you can slice it and put it on a sandwich. I love women who are unafraid of color and women who make the mixing of texture seem as natural as putting on underwear. I tend to think way too much before I commit to any decor. But Shingai looks like fun at happy hour. And the bouffant afro hair…either you think its hawt or a hot disaster. But back to what really matters. That sofa. And never mind the price. You dig?

I hope she’s on emusic somewhere…But anyway, that is on ballsy sofa and one ballsy chicks. I love (and sometimes envy) ballsy chicks like that. And anyway, I think her afro bouffant is hawt!

I actually like the couch… I could see it in a room in a beautiful brownstone that’s been transformed into a dressing room/walk-in closet. The colors would blend well with all the colors and textures from the clothes in the closet. And you’ll definitely need a place to sit down and relax as you try on all your fabulous clothes…a girl can dream can’t she!
